These terms are the agreement between you and Payoff Vector when you use the site, create an account, or subscribe. We wrote them in plain English on purpose. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to what’s on this page — if you don’t agree, no hard feelings, just don’t use the service. And up front: Payoff Vector is an educational budgeting tool, not financial advice. Our full disclaimer is here.
Payoff Vector is a budgeting and debt organization tool for people with irregular income. You enter your debts, bills, and income; we do the math and hand you a suggested weekly plan. You are always the one who moves the money. We’re the guide, not the autopilot — we never connect to your bank, never pull transactions, and never make payments on your behalf.
We may add, change, or remove features over time. The core weekly plan stays the core; the details will evolve.
You need an account to build plans. You’re responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your login. One account per person — don’t share credentials or resell access.
You can close your account yourself, whenever you want, right in the app — go to the Strategy tab of your Setup page and choose “Close my account.” Everything goes with it: your debts, bills, plan history, and account details are deleted on the spot. (If you have an active Vector Pro subscription, cancel it from Billing settings first so you’re not paying for an account you no longer use.) Prefer to have us do it? Use our contact page and we’ll take care of it within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for what deletion means.
Vector Pro is $14/month and Vector Pro Annual is $99/year, billed through our payment partner Polar. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings — your access continues through the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then reverts to the free tier. No phone calls, no retention scripts.
Refunds: we don’t issue them, because we don’t lock you in — you can cancel at any moment and keep access through what you’ve paid for. If a charge looks wrong or you didn’t authorize it, email us and we’ll make it right.
The Blueprint ($29, one-time) is a personalized PDF report generated from the numbers you enter, plus 30 days of Vector Pro access. The PDF is yours to keep forever. The Pro access expires at the end of the 30-day window unless you subscribe separately.
Use the service as it’s intended — for managing your own finances. Don’t scrape it, hammer it with automated traffic, probe it for vulnerabilities, upload malicious content, or use it to harass anyone. If something you do threatens the service or other users, we can suspend or close the account. We’d rather never do this.
We work to keep the site up, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. There will be maintenance windows, occasional hiccups, and hopefully-forever-only rare downtime. We don’t offer credits or compensation for downtime. Your data is stored in our database and we back it up, but keep your own records of your numbers too.
Payoff Vector provides educational budgeting information, not financial advice, and projections are simplified — the full disclaimer covers this in detail. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages — for example, fees you incur from following or ignoring a plan. We tell you what to set aside; you decide whether to do it.
If we change these terms, we’ll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date at the top of the page — that date is your signal to check back. This page is the source of truth for the current version, so it’s worth a look now and then. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
